NTI Media Maker is decent CD burning software that will suffice the needs of most users. In addition to burning CDs and music files NTI Media also supports data transfer and DVD burning. With NTI you can easily drag and drop specific tracks and
files as well as schedule system backups.

Feature Set:

NTI Media Maker has several features that contribute to the product's success as a good CD-burning software package. With NTI Media Maker, you can copy unprotected DVDs (like home videos) to DVD, CD or even copy DVDs onto your hard drive. NTI Media Maker also has the capability to back up PC files and WAV discs.

Ease of Use:

NTI Media is easy to use, but perhaps more so for those with prior experience of CD burning software. However, the learning curve for a newer user is mild. One feature that makes customizing a CD easier is the drag and drop functionality. This function is common to most computer programs and is understood by most consumers, even beginners. All that is required to use this function is to click on the preferred songs, drag these songs to their desired destination and then press the write button.

Ease of Installation:

NTI Media Maker is an easy program to install and setup. Like most CD burning software, NTI Media Maker is a compiled program, a large piece of software made up of multiple smaller software. During installation we had to technically install two components separately, seeming like we had to install NTI twice.

Help/Documentation:

The help documentation was useful. Topics are listed in a way that makes locating them easy. The writing is a bit foggy however, and so, takes a bit longer to read and comprehend.

Summary:

Overall, NTI Media Maker is an excellent CD burning software product.
